About

My name is Dava Caballero.  (Dava Ruth, to those most dear.)  Daughter of missionaries, I never considered a life outside of church and ministry.  Although my half century of life hasn’t officially been in “the ministry,” learning about and sharing the love of Jesus Christ is my life.

Mothering has been my primary and most treasured vocation.  Now, only one little chick of my four is left at home.  So, in this more mature stage of life, I’ve turned attention back to my passion for the written word.  (Thus, this blog.)  Being a wife, a mother, and a survivor of debilitating sickness provides plenty of material that I’d love to share with those who may be walking a similar path.
